We asked. You answered.
What do you want more of in 2026? You want practical and actionable ways to improve your photography. There is simply no better way to add to your skills / capabilities and toolset than talking about these topics.

The first speaker who will be teaching on something he personally considers one of the most important aspects of photography is NPC founder, Nic Stover. Nic will talk to you about Evaluating & Working with Light. This is not about light meters or reading sun rays, it is about recogizing the different types of light and working with it to bring forward the images you envision.

Our second talk will be with Nature Photography Collective's lead instructor, Nathan St. Andre. There are go to tools that we use as photographers to help in reading the landscape, planning potential images, and using simple tools. We are talking about how to use Use PhotoPills and the Photographer's Ephemeris. Understanding the capability of these applications helps you refine it to simple ways to adapt

The third talk will challenge you in new ways to see the landscape differently. NPC's Chief Creative and the host / founder of the Pixels Podcast, Beth Buelow will talk to us about Multi Dimensional Perceiving. What is this you ask? It is training yourself to see the landscape differently and how to anticipate how things like Abstracts, Intentional Camera Movement, or Impressionistic images can be formed.

The series concludes with Nature Photography Academy founder, Meredith Fontana to lead us step by step through Simple Steps with Focus Stacking to Perfectly Sharp Landscapes. For a long time this was a very complicated technique but as camera technology and post processing software have improved it has become much more practical and approachable.
