Meet Nic Stover 

Nature Photography Classes was founded in 2021 by Nic Stover, a lifelong entrepreneur and passionate nature photographer based in San Luis Obispo, CA. Originally from Carbondale, Colorado, Nic now teaches photography classes, leads workshops, and curates educational events that help others create more meaningful, impactful images.

Since going pro in 2020, Nic has spent over 90 days a year in the field, traveling to all seven continents. Still, it’s the familiar places—like the Canadian Rockies, the High Sierra, and the Desert Southwest—that fuel his creative journey most deeply.

Beth is a Michigan-based artist, coach, and educator specializing in abstract and minimalist photography. Beth's creative philosophy is simple: If you’re not amazed, you’re not paying attention.

Her work doesn’t fit into one genre or subject, as she aims to reflect the incredible world around us. Inspired by Walt Whitman’s words, "I am large, I contain multitudes," Beth's photography explores themes of calm, order, mystery, balance, and experimentation. These elements may seem at odds, but they reflect the complexity of her creativity.

Murray is a full-time professional landscape photographer with over 10 years of experience. Based in Scotland and South Africa, he leads workshops and shares his expertise in capturing the beauty of nature through long-term photographic projects.

Meet Paul Nguyen

Paul Nguyen has over 35 years of experience in film and digital photography, specializing in natural landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor adventure videos. In 2017, he participated in the National Park Artist in Residence program at Petrified Forest, Arizona, and continues to create programs for the National Park Service. His work has included an exclusive assignment for the Boston Museum of Science and roles as a guide and brand ambassador for Fjällräven. Sponsored by Tamron USA and Sun Surveyor, he is also known for his adventure and overlanding videos. Now based in Flagstaff, AZ, Paul spends much of his time exploring the western U.S. for photo tours and video content, while staying connected to New England camera clubs as a remote lecturer and judge, earning Judge of the Year honors in 2015-2016 from the Boston Camera Club.
